Nominated for the Ocean Tribute Award 2023

Save Nemo and NemoPi are in the final of the Ocean Tribute Award 2023.

Great news

Save Nemo is one of five finalists for the Ocean Tribute Award 2023 with its underwater weather station, NemoPi!

The Ocean Tribute Award is an initiative of boot Düsseldorf. Together with its partners, the Prince Albert Foundation and the German Ocean Foundation, the award has recognised marine conservation initiatives, associations and projects making a particular contribution to protecting the oceans since 2018.

Voting closed on 2 January 2023. Thank you for your vote!

The final award ceremony was scheduled for 23 January 2023. The original announcement directed readers to https://oceantributeaward.boot.de/ for updates.

Update

Unfortunately, we did not win the award. We are a little disappointed, but we also understand why—and we promise we are working on it.

Now it is back to our usual work as an association, with our next rescue project in Indonesia due to begin in May.
